I went to the optometrist for the first time in a couple of years today. The good news is that as I get older my eyes are getting better and I am not only a -5.50 in each eye…it was -6.0 and before that -6.25…so that’s good. The other good bit is that this is the time to evaluate what frames need to be retired and look for new ones if I want. I normally like to have 2-4 pairs to work with. Here are two pair that I have found and really like. One of them is going to be under way to get made …hopefully tomorrow! The other pair I’ve gotten mixed reviews on.

| Today I found this pretty pair from Pillip Lim,it’s called “Moujik” and although it comes in various colors, it’s this soft pink that I really like. You can find them here. |

| This is my new pair of lovelies.. I will be getting these made along with my black cat eyes over the weekend. These are the classic wayfarer frame, unlike the current wayfarer that I have which is thinner. You can find them here in a darker torta and a black. I got them in this shade which is called “Havana Yellow”. |
