In 2004, I enrolled as a graduate student at Bank Street College of Education in New York City for a Masters of Science in Education in Leadership in Museum Education. Bank Street is known to be one of the finest training grounds for leaders in the field of education and museum education. While a grad student there were four advisors to our class, Leslie, the program director, Claudine, Laura and Bill. This year Bill is retiring and today we got an email from Laura asking us to send Bill postcards— so I am going to paint this image onto a postcard. The mascot for Bank Street is the owl, so I thought an owl in a Bank Street shirt with the city behind it would be a perfect little piece for Bill.
