Remember how I said my taste in music is all over the place? Here’s an example…the first song I will be downloading this week is, “Begging You” by Madcon. I have heard the song here and there, but the other day while in the Neiman’s shoe department, they had a DJ spinning and this is one of the songs he played. I instantly found myself bopping my head and wanting to spend $300 on shoes.
You may remember this Scottish band’s hit, “Roll to Me” …well this weekend I heard another one of their songs, that I had forgotten about. “Tell Her This”…a really pretty song worth downloading. Del Amitri broke up in 2002, but their music still finds its way on the airwaves on XFM’s The Spectrum.
My final download recommendation for this week comes from the late, Ms. Amy Winehouse. In 2002 Amy recorded a reggae inspired version of the song, “Our Day Will Come”, the song was unreleased until earlier this month. It is another great example of how her voice brought classics back to life.

I hope the music carries you through a great week! It’s going to be really busy with Art Week starting tomorrow here in Miami. I’ll be attending Art Basel’s Vernissage on Wednesday, I may be going to MAM’s annual POP (Party on the Plaza), and Friday I am “fair hopping” with museum friends. It should be a lot of fun and I will report back with lots of pictures.
