Inspiration is all around us…it’s as simple as that. A few months ago while popping in next door to the Miami Art Museum (MAM), I saw this bright green T-Rex and I fell for him. I put off buying him for months…and every time I went over to MAM for a meeting or something I would always check and make sure he was still there. I told my friends at MAM that I was coveting the T-Rex…they smiled and always said, “You should buy him with your discount”…and I would nod and agree.
Last week, I finally decided I was going to do it. It was a particularly stressful week, and I told myself I deserved my desk protector. When I went over to MAM to buy him, there was a mom eyeing him…asking the store attendant how much he cost…all the while I was praying she wouldn’t take him away from me, as I KNEW he was the last one.
Fortunately for me, the $30 price tag was not what she had in mind…and as quickly as a bunny can make bunny babies he was mine!
Now the question lies…what do I name him?
