Lifelong Friends.

That’s what I call this sketch. I was waiting for the doctor yesterday when I got in a drawing mood and did this.

The idea is that some of us have a friend or two who we grew up with, maybe on the same block, a block away or just across a valley. It’s nice to have those people in your life. I’ve thought about that a lot as there are so many kids on my new block. I myself grew up one street over from here. I also like to think about how much fun it would have been to grow up with some of my friends I met as an adult. My friends were fun kids…

So all of these thoughts inspired this drawing.
