Today one of our Education Center team members left for graduate school in Canada! Traditionally on their last day at the museum (specifically in my department), the person gets a gift and lunch at a place of their selection. So our friend TM selected the staple Cuban restaurant, Versailles for her last lunch. At the end of a great meal we all sat there knowing the sad inevitable was coming…so I drew this little sun on my place mat…a reminder that TM would miss the Miami sun, but mostly that we will miss her ray of sunshine personality.
